Fall 2012 Make & Take Projects

There was lots happening in the store over this past weekend! We had a room full of ladies scrapbooking for a cause at our annual ScrapPink event benefitting the Oconomowoc Center for Breast Care at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. In addition, we welcomed crafters to take part in make & take crafts for fall & Halloween fun. Kids, parents & grandparents worked together to make a Spider treat cup, Frankie the bookmark and Hootie the owl! It’s always amazing to see the level of creativity that our crafters…young & old…bring to the table. No two products looked the same, but everyone had fun with paper, paint, glue and embellishments.

We’ll be trying something new with our Make & Take projects this year. Watch for videos tutorials coming soon on our YouTube channel. If the Make & Take schedule conflicts with soccer games, recitals, family gatherings (you get the idea!!!), you & your children can still join us “virtually” so you don’t miss out on any of the fun. In the meantime, here’s a link to the free pattern you will need to trace to make your own “Hootie the Owl.”

Until next time…happy crafting!!
