Our final holiday craft was designed by Joan, from our craft department. This Rosette Christmas Tree is beautiful and can be created with papers and embellishments to match any decor.

Rosette Christmas Tree

  • Patterned paper or card stock
  • Hot glue
  • Tape runner
  • Scoreboard
  • Paper trimmer
  • 1″ circle punch
  • Embellishments as desired

  1. Punch twenty 1″ circles from card stock. You will use two of these circles on each rosette.
  2. Cut three 3″ x 12″ strips of paper and score every 1/2″ using Scoreboard.
  3. Accordion fold each strip.
  4. Adhere three strips together, end to end to create one long strip. Adhere ends together to form a circle.
  5. Set circle on a flat surface, push top edge towards the middle so that it lays fat. Push outside edges of flat circle towards the middle and hold center in place.
  6. Hot glue around center of rosette and add card stock circle. Turn rosette over and add a second card stock circle using hot glue.
  7. Repeat using dimensions below for the sizes and quantity of strips for each layer. Note: some layers have the same size and quantity of strips. Push the sides of the rosette in a bit more on each layer to create the layered effect.
  8. Embellish as desired.
