Knit Your First Sweater: Harvest Baby Sweater

Lynda Laugavitz

Laugavitz Harvest sweater

While knitting Tin Can Knits’ Harvest Sweater, you will create a top-down cardigan that’s completely seamless. Once it’s off the needles, you’re done! You’ll learn the importance of gauge, how to pick up stitches, the Magic Loop technique and how to make (optional) buttonholes. The pattern is written for sizes baby through adult 4X, so after you finish your first sweater on a small scale, you’ll be ready to knit it again in any size!

Prerequisite: You know how to cast on, knit, purl, and also have experience knitting in the round, decreasing stitches and reading patterns.

Age Requirement: Open to ages 14 and up

Class length:  9 hours in three 3-hour sessions.

Instructor: Lynda Laugavitz
