This is a class for individuals who are interested in quilting with large fabric panels but are not sure what to do with them. You will select a panel and appropriate pattern during the first class. The instructor will help with pattern and fabric selection and will help students if alterations are needed to make the panel work with the pattern selected. Students will then spend the remaining class time cutting and sewing their selections. The class will meet three sessions so that there will be more time for instructor guidance if needed. This class is suitable for beginners and experienced quilters. There will be some homework between classes and all should have a finished quilt by the end.
Prerequisite: Basic sewing skills, must provide own sewing machine.
Age Requirement: Open to ages 16 and up
Class length: 9 hours in three 3-hour sessions
Instructor: Mary Siekmann
